The Studio

The upper level of a ‘70s Swedish style house has been converted to a studio. The interior hasn’t been altered so you’re immediately transported to a different vibe when entering the room, which has a great effect on creativity.

The building has a wooden skeletal structure with lots of uneven walls and corners, so the room has a very natural, dry and cozy sound, which works great for recording, mixing and mastering.

At the heart of the studio stands a big Soundcraft Spirit Studio 32/8/2 desk from the late ‘80s. (before the company was bought by the Harman Group) The desk is connected to one of the best converters currently on the market, the Antelope Orion 32+ gen3.

Since we also have a mobile setup you’re not just limited to the main recording room. Beneath the house is a basement which has long been used as a practice space, so you’ve got two radically different sounding rooms right at your disposal. But don’t let those be your only options. Adventurous recording is always an option, an abandoned train station, a warehouse, a nightclub, on top of a mountain,… Let your imagination run wild.

Since we’re just starting this great adventure of recording, we’re constantly upgrading our gear and microphones so be sure to check the gear list for specifics.
